About Me!

Jaycee is the current director of choirs at Silverado High School in Las Vegas, NV. As the director of choirs she directs Chamber Choir, Chorale, Bella Voce, Concert Choir, and the Best Buddies Choir.

Jaycee graduated with a degree in Music Education from Brigham Young University! While attending BYU, Jaycee has been a member of several BYU Choirs such as BYU University Singers under the direction of Andrew Crane, and BYU Women's Chorus under the direction of Sonja Poulter, and Jean Applonie. 

Jaycee has studied conducting with Rosalind Hall. And has been the conductor of choirs at Eisenhower Junior High and for the Ensign Singers and the A Voice for Good Choir. 

Jaycee has served as Co-President for the BYU ACDA Student Chapter and the Choral Representative on the BYU CNAFE Board. Jaycee also served on the Board of Directors for A Voice for Good as the Outreach Committee Chair. 

Jaycee is a classically trained soprano who has experience in classical and musical theatre styles. She has played roles such as Cinderella in "Into the Woods," Amneris in "Aida," and many more! She has performed as a choir member at Western Division ACDA, Utah ACDA, Utah UMEA, and has toured internationally with BYU University Singers to Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. 

Music has been apart of Jaycee's life from a young age. She has been singing and playing the piano for over 12 years! Jaycee opened her private studio in 2019 and has loved being able to interact with amazing students.
